New Teams!
Please relay all questions and comments through your captain when possible. There are around 150 teams, and 800 players. There is only one of me.
The rules can be found at
http://rules.poolplayers.com
. Read them, learn them, love them.
The by-laws can be found at
https://mokan.apaleagues.com/RulesByLaws.aspx
. Know these too!
Everyone should create a member services account at
http://members.poolplayers.com
. This will allow you to see schedules, scores, stats, and use the Member Services app as well as the Scorekeeper app.
A folder is kept at your host location with the schedule and your team card. The host location will assign tables using these cards, so look for your card with your team name.
New players can be added by the team using the Scorekeeper app within the first four weeks. After that, contact me to change your roster.
To download the app(s), visit this link:
https://poolplayers.com/apps/
Scores are kept using the Scorekeeper app. To learn how to use it, check out the videos: https://poolplayers.com/score/
You will also pay league fees using the Member Services app. The full team fee is paid by one person (can be two if Double Jeopardy). If payment is not made the night of play, you may lose bonus points. Once scores are entered, you can no longer pay using the app. Use
http://pay.mokanapa.com
instead.
Patches, plaques and trophies will be delivered at the end of session. Most are delivered during the Triannual tournaments.
For the give players you put up for the night, the team total cannot exceed 23 and you cannot play more than 2 skill level 6s. Example: 6,6,5,3,3.
Your skill level is not considered to be established until you have 10 matches played. During that time, you could jump from a 3 to a 7 before eventually averaging into a 5 for instance. Give it time.
